I think we’re both secretly praying that the neighbors are jealous of the magnolia tree that lives in our back yard.

At 60 years old it reaches forty feet or more across.  It’s taller than the second story roof.  The blooms have survived a late March freeze, and we should have full bloom in a few days.  The flower bed that you’ve created along the fence line gives new shades of color in two or three week sub-seasons through October.  The white magnolia, though.  The white magnolia.

I imagine with each bloom that I hear a neighbor sigh with jealousy.

John Galt is a character in Ayn Rand’s book who would be a modern day equivalent of Gates or perhaps the founders of Google, Facebook or Apple. Galt represents success and self sufficiency.

Limbaugh just told us that an executive fleeing AIG because of the bonus uproar IS John Galt. No Rush. John Galt is not a medium executive at a company that is no longer able to survive without government subsidies. No Sir. John Galt is the local entrepreneur who is not willing to give his tax dollars to the bankrupt AIG exec. John Galt is listening to your show. He is the modern American hero who put his life, his family, his home, his savings on the line and is winning. AIG has lost Rush. Stop lying to your listeners. Stop demanding government hand outs for the banks who caused this great disgrace. Sit down Rush. Stop lying. America, start reading, then you will see through these lies.

Rush is defending as the American hero those who have betrayed. Rush has lost his way. Rush was right, but he is no longer. He no longer has the moral authority to use Reagan mantras. Sit down Rush. Shut up. Your conservative base can see through the curtain to the man pulling the levers.

Who is John Galt?

In case the President is paying attention to the independents like myself who voted last year through ballot and blog both:

Fix health care.  Otherwise, stop spending, please.

The Rush crowd will eventually come to see that taking healthcare off Mr. Atlas’ shoulder will make him a champion once more.

You, did hear me say, stop spending, I trust.

God Bless you, Mr. Izzo.   You are the  BigTen’s if not the NCAA’S  class act.

May the basketball gods be with you in your defeat of USC

Negativity of Republicans is 8 Years Too Late

&

President Obama — just say no to Quantative Easing.

The negativity coming from the Republican party is eight years too late.   They turned their heads while “their” president intentionally misregulated the banks.  Their man lead the charge to the precipice of 2008’s decent.

They have lost their moral authority.  They blessed a mulit-trillion dollar war, they blessed the Bush bailouts.   Now, all of a sudden they chant Reagan mantras as if leading by example.

This post was inspired by the article you’ll find below.   All this said, President Obama, STOP spending.  You got your bailout.  Now stop spending.  And, please Sir, just say no to quantative easing.  Just say no.

I have a cousin who retired as a VP from a major national bank about 5 years ago.  He was not willing to play the games that have brought international banking and the global economy to this disgrace.

There are thousands upon thousands of bankers out there right now who lacked the courage to remove themselves from the pyramid of  Monopoly money.   They are now peddling fear of socialism as a tool of retaking  both your trust and the institutions that they have destroyed.

Those who have raided your retirment account have raided the federal treasury as well.  They are in the process of taking even more control of international banking as we sleep.

They are distracting us with fear of socialism.  They want us to believe that opposition to their crimes is socialistic.  Wow.   We have a lot of reading to do here if we are going to save capitalism.

It’s been months since I posted a personal training comment here.  I’m training for a marathon.  Up to 18 miles tomorrow.  Praying that my IT band holds out…

Advice for handling the pain in the middle of the run anyone?  I’ve found some pre/post stretches.   Corrective action in the middle of the run?

In this article, I hear Israel saying that it is not interested in having a Palestinian neighbor.   I find this drive for a signle monolithic regional power that excludes Palestine as unagreeable as pin-stripped bankers.

If Israel is not interested in a Palestinian state, I am not interested in being Israel’s friend.

New Israeli Coalition Shows Its True Colors.

I’ve invested hours and hours in this blog  laying out the evidence that our economic turmoil was very much predicted and discussed over the past five or more years in those media sources that had the courage to tell the truth.

Rush Limbaugh was either completely ignorant of the approach of this financial tsunami, or he intentionally deceived his, mostly success minded,  sincere,  well-meaning, generally Christian, and always fervently faithful followers into believing that they had nothing to fear.   The captains of industry and finance go astray and fall off in ones from time to time.  But America and her entrepreneurial leaders always, always do what they know to be in the country’s best economic interest.  Go about your business of earning and winning.  We titans of the Northern Command have it all under control.  You mind your store, I’ll mind mine, Lehman is minding his.  Go forth and prosper.

While there is evidence of dissent from within the Rush loyals, millions of Americans, it seems, are not willing to connect the dots, step back, take it all in, remove themselves spiritually from the dogma at hand, and say wait a minute!  Wait one x(*&^% minute!

Rush, you either lied to me, or you missed this one.  You, sir, are either a man of pure deceit through and through, or you missed this one.   I believed that you knew what was going on up there at the Northern Command.  I trusted you Rush!   And you either lied to me or you missed this one to the tune of hundreds of thousands of millions of billions of trillions of dollars.   This is bigger than Barney’s sub-prime, Rush.  This is bigger than you Rush.  Your vision was either completely off, Rush.  Or you helped those jackals con me out of my life savings.

Loyal followers of  a movement, (the Reagan/Rush conservative movement in this case) naturally have a very hard time stepping out of the dogma long enough to let the above paragraph play all the way out in their minds.  They, naturally (in self defense) stop somewhere in the middle and say, “no, no way.”  At this point they get back to the business of their lives  and pursue it no further.

Tell Rush’s followers that Madoff is a jackal and they will agree at once and display all the normal signs of disgust and revulsion one would expect.  But, if you lay out  just as plainly the facts that Rush cost them 60% of their live savings (through ignorance or deceit one) and they invoke contempt not for Rush but for you.  How dare you assail the prophet of the Northern Command.

Rush Limbaugh is the most dangerous man on the planet.  He is the leader of a faith based movement that denies both his culpability and his assumed status of  false prophet.
